I call this moon the Veil Moon, and her archetype is The Reflective Mother.
Here, we stand between light and dark, between giving and receiving — much like the High Priestess standing before the veil. It’s a moment of pause and perspective. A time to look honestly at our lives, not through the lens of perfection, but through the clarity of truth and kindness.

But life, as it does, had other plans. Between caring for four children, navigating tech issues, and embracing the unpredictable rhythm of motherhood, I’ve had to find balance, and redefine what beauty looks like.
This Veil Moon has reminded me that reflection itself is an act of creation. That sometimes, the most honest offering we can make is not a polished product, but a heartfelt presence.

The Reflective Mother stands before the mirror, not in vanity but in reverence. She gazes inward and outward at once, seeking to understand who she has become, and who she is still becoming.
She teaches us the sacredness of pause, the wisdom of recalibration. She reminds us that balance is not about symmetry or perfection, but about truth, what feels kind, what feels right, what brings harmony to the soul.
Under this Libra New Moon, we are invited to ask:
What am I carrying that no longer reflects who I am becoming?
What am I ready to release as I step into this next season of life?
How can I bring more kindness into the way I see myself?
