The Radiance Moon: You Are Allowed to Be Seen
Joyful woman in a field with balloons.
What if joy is sacred?
Not something extra, or selfish, or something you have to earn, but something essential. A soul piece. A remembering.
This Leo New Moon, what I call the Radiance Moon, arrives as a bright, golden invitation to rise into your fullness. She reminds us that our joy is not a luxury. It is part of our light. And when we embrace it, we don't just lift ourselves, we bless everyone around us, especially our children.
Even if your house is messy. Even if your body has changed. Even if you're still trying to remember who you are. The Radiance Moon says:
You are allowed to be seen.
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to shine.
The Sovereign Mother

Each new moon of the year brings with it an archetype, a facet of the mother within us all. For Leo, we meet the Sovereign Mother. She is bold. She is bright. She walks into a room and does not shrink.
She doesn’t apologise for her joy. She wears what she loves. She speaks from her heart. And when she sees someone else, truly sees them, she calls out their light too.
The Sovereign Mother doesn’t just feel confident in herself, she lifts others with her radiance. She is a mirror of possibility. She tells you:
“You’re not just a mother. You are the centre of your home. The weaver of magic. The holder of joy.”
She doesn’t ask you to be perfect. She invites you to be whole.
Postpartum & Personal Radiance
This moon feels personal to me.
Six months postpartum with my fourth baby, I’ve been learning to meet my body as it is now, soft, stretched, changed. I’ve decluttered my wardrobe, released what no longer fits or reflects who I am, and now I’m asking:
How do I dress this new body with honour? With joy? With fire?
I’m not interested in shrinking to fit old clothes or old expectations. I want to choose expression over erasure. Sovereignty over shame. And it’s not about being stylish — it’s about being true.
I booked a wardrobe edit with Ghislaine Walker from @talesinstyle to remind myself that this season is sacred, and this body can be honoured even in this in-between stage while I wait for her to settle on a size. I share more about this in my video on YouTube - This Holy Hearth
🔥 A Simple Ritual for the Radiance Moon
This new moon, I invite you to join me in a simple act of reclamation:
Dress with intention.
Wear something that makes you feel like fire. Bold. Bright. Alive.
Say aloud:
“I am allowed to be seen.”
Journal with curiosity:
Where have I dimmed my light to be accepted?
What parts of my joy have I silenced?
What would it feel like to let myself shine fully and freely?
Let this moon be a coronation, not a correction.
You don’t need to be healed to be visible.
You don’t need to be perfect to be radiant.
